FDR And WW2 Campaigning

Seems Bush (along with the Republican Party) aren't the only ones to use ads that focus on times of great loss of life. FDR himself ran for re-election by cloaking himself in the priority of WW2. And you know what? He had every right to it. Just the same as the Bush has every right to showcase the time of 9/11 as his "finest hour" because it was indeed his finest and many Americans agree. And just as you hear the outcry of some who had family in the towers, you can hear the support as well.
