For those in the LA area who enjoy a good foreign flick once in awhile in a theatre that is anything but a multi-plex next Monday night (the 24th) is for you. On this date at 7:30pm at the Egyptian is a special sneak preview of the latest Takeshi Kitano (for those in the know this is one of the greatest directors living in the world today; for those who don't, he is the overdubbed "host" on Spike's Most Extreme Challenge) film Zatoichi. Following the film there will be a dicussion with one of the film's actors, Tadanobu Asano (who is an incredible actor in his own right and IMDB even says "a cross between Johnny Depp and Toshirô Mifune" about him). Needless to say I'll try and be there as hard as I can.
