This article lends some more credibility to that assertion (well the first part anyways, the rest just gets, um, interesting). Now I don't mind seeking new ways to bring music, especially classical music, to more listeners both young and old. My only problem is that sexing things up really dilutes the true scope of apperciation for raw talent, that is, the musicmanship. I mean now most concerts have all sort of gyrating going on and thus plenty of vocal dubbing because I'm sorry but I know a thing or two about singing ( I mean not because I can sing but I obviously know those who can) and you can't move like that and belt out a tune at the same time. And since Pop is where all the attention is nowadays everyone else is basically left to cast their lonely eyes towards that institution and decide how best copy and bring the people back. Now I'm a big time cynical (positive) thinker so I might be lamenting what I should not but when art can't be apperciated for the talent, but rather for the flesh, well I'm gonna open this big fat mouth of mine.
Oh well, lately I've been trying to create my own electronic music (and boy is that complicated) so I'll just pimp (pun intended) that out here when it's ready. Then someone can complain about my blog giving me a place to showcase absolutely horrific music that will never sound as good as a record (and it's true, the quality of digital isn't as good as an analog signal).

An interesting link though...Where is your music...hopped in here after a long time!
Cheers:)

Hahaha....I've been trying but other things have gotten in the way. Hopefully I can devote some more time to it in the future. I've always wrestled within with getting things done and not become a "Big Ideas, Never got anything done" type of person.
