Why Police Are NOT a First Defense...

This made my blood boil and it took my a couple seconds to temper my "emotional" reaction to this:

Taken from Politics, Guns & Beer.  Needless to say I am once again reminded that not only my safety, but my wife's safety may very well depend on having a firearm at home.  I pray to God such a thing is never to occur but one cannot take chances.  Knowing how many times she gets followed when she's shopping and such, this just hits too close to home.  And yes folks there can be some issues with having an attractive wife, namely every fool out there seems to zero in on her when she's alone.

Amazing but certainly not surprising to see a political action that makes no sense.  Ah beautiful legislation.  Of course this is why I've become a big convert to Federalism.  Thanks Fred!
